Over the past few years I have seen the police confiscate these fellows ice cream carts...In the past few months the police have really intensified this ''harrasment'' ..Now I understand the Laws on this and understand that in order to run a business you must must have a business license and resale permit..I understand this very well as I have been running my own business for the past 20 years and have always paid the piper....What I don't understand is why the police are bothering these good folks who are simply trying to make a living as honest as they know how? Should not the police spend their time and efforts by chasing dope dealers as an example? I have supported these street vendors by buying from them and frankly, Have got to know many of them personally...Great group of folks....I will continue to support them by buying from them....
