As 2009 comes to an end, I can't feel but glad it is over. It was a very hard year for me personally, but it is not about me, it is about others...Others who had it worse that I did...With that I met this fellow in Venice beach early in the year. I never did get his name and have not seen him since... I snapped his picture and bought him some lunch and went on my way. It was not until I got the film developed that I started to look at my images from that day when this one jumped out at me....To see this guy looking so broken reminded me of how good I have it...Still this man will never know the extent of what ''he'' caused..Because of him, I stepped up my giving and my work with those who are far less fortunate that I am...Because Of him I was able to provide nearly 1000 meals for the homeless...Hundreds of tooth brushes, chap sticks, socks, and other hygiene products...I made hundreds of friends and my wife and kids contributed as well...I only wished that I had a partner and that I did not have to do it alone...Still I hope to do more in 2010 though God will have to provide the means and he will as he did this past year....It was suggested by some friends that I write a book on this and perhaps I will give it a try before my time is out...Please check out my you tube videos on the right.
