John is also missing 1 leg...He is one of the most knowledgeable folks in all of Hollywood and should be doing Hollywood tours....

I have a real fondness for shadows. While these are far from my best, these are the latest.

Sad really.

This is sad really. The police no longer let the street performers perform on the streets of Hollywood. The police are out bothering these good folks who are simply trying to make a living. So here we have this fellow waiting with his ticket / fine in his pocket waiting for the bus to get to the next place. I feel sorry for the many tourist who I know enjoyed these guys....

I was pondering this mural when this fellow went walking by. I took a quick snap with out much thought and It turned out I liked it. Funny thing to me is that is if this fellow would not have came walking by, I would not have even made the picture.

A happy lady, that makes me smile.

I met this wonderful lady a couple of years ago. I would ask her if i could take her picture and always said no. I would give her some money and go on my way. As I saw her again, I handed her 5 dollars and started to walk away when she yelled for me. Through an interpreter, she asked me to take her picture so I did. Now everytime I see her, she wants her picture taken. :) By the way, she does not speak english, but we understand each other some how. ;-)
